Mary E. Griffin
Mary E. Griffin is a five-term state representative
representing the towns of Salem and Windham. She served for three terms
on the Municipal and County Government Committee and has served on the
Ways and Means Committee for the last two terms. During this current
term she serves as the Assistant Majority Whip.
Mary is an active member of the Vesta Roy Board of
Directors where she assists the Program Committee.
A native of Lynn, MA, Mary graduated from Lynn English
High School and from Pierce Secretarial School in Boston. Upon
retirement from a legal secretary career, Mary has concentrated on the
efficient operation of state government and the welfare of its citizens.
Mary has served her community as a Planning Board
Secretary, as a member of the Capital Improvement Committee, as a Cable
Advisory Board member, and as Vice Chairman of the Crimeline of
Southern NH. In 1993 Mary was elected NH Senior American Pageant Queen
and served as State Director of the Pageant (1993-1998) and Cameo
Showcase Director. At WCTV-21 Cable Access Television, she is a
Host-Interviewer for her show "Windham Watch."
Representative Griffin is a champion tap dancer and has
many titles to her credit. She enjoys singing, dancing and hosting
political interviews. Among the dignitaries Mary has interviewed are
Ralph Nader and Vice President Quayle.
